Local start-up enterprise offers unique 'real estate staging' service

Two Bath women have launched a consulting company that specializes in “real estate staging” – a new concept designed to expedite the sale of a home and to help “bring the right price.”

The company, Project Organize, is the brainchild of Kristen Britt and Mikaela Rios, who see real estate staging “as an essential component to giving a home a competitive edge over other properties.”

“Furniture placement, clutter elimination, and other simple changes we implement make a home more appealing to potential buyers,” Kristen Britt said.

“With attention to every detail and with a broad, fresh perspective, we give our clients a unique and powerful edge,” Rios added. “We have the same goal as our clients -- to make their home irresistible to buyers.”

The co-founders of the entrepreneurial enterprise noted that they work with and for the sellers and the sellers’ agent to arrange and enhance the home, making it more pleasing.

Britt and Rios said they saw a need for such a “vital service” after being relocated by the Navy a combined total of eighteen times.

“We know first-hand that there’s nothing easy about having to move and putting your house up for sale. We can make the home-selling factor easier and more pleasant because of our moving experiences and expertise in real estate staging,” they explained.

In addition to real estate staging, the women noted that they have twelve years of professional experience in restructuring, organizing, and improving efficiency in homes and offices, “which helped give us the vision and the confidence to create a unique business.”

Project Organize also specializes in home and office organizing, closet planning, file systematizing, space planning, time/life management, and organization of special events.

Britt and Rios said they formed Project Organize “with the intention to use our skills and experiences to improve lives by structuring order, promoting simplicity, and improving efficiency, and, thereby decreasing our clients’ stress.”
